RCMP to continue search efforts for missing Liverpool man

The search for a missing Liverpool man will continue over the weekend.

The RCMP will be working with local Ground Search and Rescue (GSAR) Teams on May 12 as they continue their efforts to locate Thomas Burke, who was reported missing on July 17, 2017.

GSAR teams from Queens, North Queens, Lunenburg, the Annapolis Valley, and Barrington will be participating in the effort.

Thomas McAllister Burke, 28, was last seen at his residence in Liverpool near midnight on July 16-17. He is six-foot tall with an average build, has black hair, a black goatee, and brown eyes. He was wearing a black Ghostbusters t-shirt and brown cargo shorts. Foul play is not suspected in this incident.

RCMP and GSAR will be working in the area of Town Lake Rd. Residents can expect to see significant activity in the area, including an RCMP Police dog and handler. Anyone who is in the area is asked to check with officials on site before proceeding.
