A man, 52, from Hammond Plains was charged with stunting on October 9 after RCMP South Shore Traffic Services clocked the vehicle at 155 km/hr in a 100 km/hr zone on Highway 103 in Chester Basin. Four other people were in the vehicle at the time.
In addition to the stunting charge, his license was suspended for seven days and vehicle was seized. The fine for stunting in Nova Scotia is $2,422.50.
