Queens District RCMP responds to single vehicle rollover

A driver of a Pontiac Montana was taken to hospital after a single-vehicle accident in Westfield on the morning of March 30.

Around 7:50 a.m. the Queens County District RCMP was notified of an accident on Old Westfield Road. Police, EHS and the North Queens Fire Department attended the scene.

The driver, the lone occupant of the vehicle, was transported to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

He was subsequently detained by police for the impaired operation of a conveyance and was later released. Investigation into the incident, led by the Queens County District RCMP, continues.

Police are asking if anyone witnessed the incident or saw the Pontiac Montana in the Old Westfield Road area the morning of March 30 to contact the Queens County District RCMP detachment at 902-354-5721.
