Local sculptor’s tribute to generations

This Three Generations commissioned statue sculpted by Ivan Higgins, owner of Cosby's Garden Centre and Concrete Creations of Brooklyn, is now the focal point of a Daffodil Garden for Cancer Survivors, located in Dartmouth near the Alderney Ferry Terminal. The garden is being built by residents and cancer survivors Judie and Jim Edgar as a tribute to cancer survivors and will soon be open to the public. It is being built to show people that a cancer diagnosis isn't necessarily a death sentence and the three generations sculpture is a reminder that cancer affects all ages.
