Hebbville man arrested on drug charges

A Hebbville man is under arrest for a number of drug offences. Members of the Integrated South Shore Street Crime Enforcement Unit (SCEU) and the South Shore Criminal Intelligence Service of Nova Scotia (CISNS) made the bust on June 4.

Murray Marvin Heath, 38, faces a number of charges. Following the arrest, police seized a quantity of powdered cocaine and prescription hydromorphone capsules.

Heath has been charged with possession of cocaine for the purpose of trafficking, possession of hydromorphone, and four counts of breach of recognizance.

Heath was held in custody overnight and taken to Bridgewater Provincial Court on June 5. He was remanded into custody, and will return to court on June 10.

The investigation is ongoing.
