Four days of sweet tunes filled the open air at the heritage society bandstand, and inside the friendly confines of the Central United Church, and iconic landmarks; the Lunenburg Opera House, and St. John's Anglican Church. The pleasant sounds from numerous musical artists also reverberated at other locations in the South Shore town.

Hosted by the local Folk Harbour Society, the festival is one of the oldest of its kinds in Canada and longest-running in Nova Scotia.
