Dropbox Six sentencing adjourned until September

  • <p>Six boys involved in a case of sharing intimate images of girls between the ages of 13 and 17 will be sentenced on September 6.</p>

The sentencing of the six Lunenburg County boys known as the Dropbox Six, has been adjourned until September 6.

The teenagers were set to be sentenced on July 31 after all six admitted to a charge of distributing an intimate image without consent. Charges of possessing and distributing child pornography are expected to be dropped.

The accused shared intimate images of over 20 girls aged 13 to 17 years old through the file sharing application Dropbox.

The boys can not be named because they were all under 18 years old at the time of the crimes. They will return to court in Bridgewater on September 6 at 1 p.m.
