The vehicle left Dufferin Street around 10:30 a.m. December 2 and collided with a tree, damaging the front end of the Prius and activated the car's airbags.

The driver and sole occupant of the Prius, a woman in her 50s, was assessed by paramedics and taken by ambulance to South Shore Regional Hospital with injuries considered to be minor.

Motor vehicle traffic in the area was restricted in the area as emergency crews, including the Bridgewater Police Service and town volunteer firefighters, worked the scene.
