A woman was hospitalized after a car accident on Highway 103.

Members of the Hebb's Cross and Bridgewater Fire Departments, EHS and the RCMP attended the scene of a two-vehicle accident at the intersection of Highway 103 and Camperdown Road on the morning of September 19.

A silver SUV was seen off the road along the south end of Highway 103, while a white van was in the ditch along Conquerall Road.

Wendell Eisener, a training officer with the Hebb's Cross Fire Department and command at the scene, said the female driver of the SUV was trapped briefly and taken to hospital.

"It does not appear she sustained serious injury at this time," he said.

Another male, who was not a part of the scene, was also taken to hospital for a pre-existing medical condition, said Eisener.

An officer at the scene said two people were in the van. However, Eisener said no one in the van was taken to hospital.

The accident is under investigation.
