Queens District RCMP has obtained a warrant for the arrest of a man charged with fraud-related offences in Molega, Queens County.
Chad Ashley Beals, 46, of Bridgewater is charged with one count each of false pretenses greater than $5,000, fraud less than $5,000 and failure to appear in court.
In a news release concerning the warrant, the RCMP said Beals is described as "black, 6-foot-0, 243 pounds, has brown eyes and black hair."
Police have made several attempts to locate Beals with no success, and are now requesting assistance from the public to help find him. He's believed to be somewhere in the Halifax Regional Municipality.
Anyone who sees Beals is asked to refrain from approaching him, and anyone with information on his whereabouts is asked to contact Queens District RCMP at 902-354-5721.
