Bridgewater man faces child exploitation charges

A 31 year old Bridgewater resident is accused of possessing child abuse images and making them available online.

The case against Brandon Larkin returns to court early next month as the matter navigates the legal system.

The charges about eight months after electronic and media storage devices seized from a Bridgewater residence in October 2018 were analyzed. The Bridgewater Police Service said the analysis yielded the discovery of videos and images alleged to be child pornography.

Local law enforcement began investigating in September 2018 after information was received from the RCMP's Internet Child Exploitation Unit about the online availability of contraband pornography.
