ATV accident injures two

The Queens District RCMP is investigating an off-road vehicle incident that occurred on the afternoon of April 11 in North Brookfield.

Members of the RCMP, fire department and EHS responded to a collision on Old Annapolis Road at about 4 p.m. and found an ATV in shallow water.

The driver and the passenger had been thrown from the ATV while navigating the shallow water. Both were wearing helmets at the time and received significant but non-life-threatening injuries.

Both were taken to hospital by ambulance and treated for their injuries. Alcohol was not a factor in the incident, according to the RCMP.
