Meet some SHAID cats

 •
Marty is a friendly and delightful four-year-old male with gorgeous markings. He is looking for a loving home.

Adopting an adult cat is an extremely rewarding experience, and they just seem to know and appreciate it. Adult cats tend to be calmer, more trained, and less hyperactive than kittens. You will have a better sense of their personality, and you will know what size they will be – because they are already full-grown. You can choose the type of cat you crave, be it a lap kitty, an active, playful cat, a lazy guy who happily snoozes his day away, or a Stage 5 clinger.

Doc is a four-year-old, solid black, short-haired male who is always up for a cuddle. His sweet disposition just makes him irresistible! Gene Simmons is a real charmer; he is a two-and-a-half-year-old short-haired brown tabby with a white underside, and he just adores humans. He does have extra toes on all four paws that will need to be trimmed regularly to keep his paws healthy. Eclipse is a one-and-a-half-year-old playful and curious gal with short black fur with a white diamond on her chest.

We have several additional cats available and are open 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. to the public from Tuesday to Saturday. All cats are spayed or neutered, vet checked, tested for feline leukemia and feline immunodeficiency virus, have been treated for parasites, vaccinated, and microchipped. You also receive pet insurance free for a one-month trial. Adult cat adoption fees range from $175 to $300.

We would like to remind everyone that our SHAID Tree Shelter Society's Annual General Meeting will be held Wednesday, May 8, at 6:30 p.m. at the Cookville Best Western. All members are invited to attend. If you're not a member, there is still time to join for just $10. Please contact info@shaidanimalshelter.com to pick up a membership, and/or RSVP for your seat. Hope to see you there!
